Hillary Clinton: Why she is the Only Real Anti-Abortion, Whole-Life Choice for Christians

As a life long pro-life Democrat, my interest has always been a genuinely whole-life platform. It has been clear to me, this year more than ever, that the Democratic platform is more …

Hello again! This is not my post, I just shared it here. I did not craft it and I’m not bound by the strictures of your holy book, so maybe you want to comment to the author and share your thoughts along with the other commenters on her site – here’s the link https://jylhallsmith.com/2016/11/03/hillary-clinton-why-she-is-the-only-real-anti-abortion-whole-life-choice-for-christians/ – I have to get back to work so I can eat 😉 which is true no matter what religion you are, or even if you have no religion at all – thanks!

Please stay out of my pocket. Please stop stealing from me to give to those who refuse to care for their own. Please stop stealing the reward of the ambitious. Please stop trying to be God. You have two jobs: Reward the righteous, punish the wicked.

      • Actually, with sophisticated social welfare programs, that is not the case. There are literally millions of people being supported in every way by working America’s tax dollars. Every aspect of their lives; these are able bodied people who are being supported by a system that has stolen their incentive to work by stealing my taxes and your taxes and handicapping them into laziness.

I refute that statement. You are absolutely bound to the truth. Every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

No one is voting to give it “all” to Caesar, so there’s that. Plus the commandment to render unto Caesar isn’t qualified, it’s not “render some to Caesar, whatever you don’t want.” Also, there’s the “sell all your stuff and follow me”, “don’t store up treasures on earth”, etc., but whatever. Also, remember, as I have stated twice already, the blog post you are commenting on is here https://jylhallsmith.com/2016/11/03/hillary-clinton-why-she-is-the-only-real-anti-abortion-whole-life-choice-for-christians/ please go comment there – it makes more sense to go join their conversation over this particular post. Thanks!

      • You missed the point I was making; we render what IS Ceasar’s. Why would I want to purposely choose to allow Ceasar to require more from me.

Oh, it IS certainly qualified… “Render WHAT IS Ceasar’s, unto Ceasar…”

You’re taking Matthew 19:21 out of context. If you study the context you will see that Jesus is challenging this man’s sincerity as a follower. The man would not lay his life down to follow Jesus; that’s the point. Jesus requires that we put aside our life to follow Him.

BTW: I did enter into a conversation with that post directly…
